FIDE SCHOOLS INFORMATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROCEDURES AND PRINCIPLES OF THE LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (KVKK)

As Köknar Education Services Trading Limited Company (Fide Schools), we have prepared this Information Text to explain to you which personal data we will process and for what purposes as a "Data Controller" in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). We assure you that the personal data you share with us will be processed under the conditions specified below:

Within the scope of our service provision relationship:

• Within the framework of the purpose requiring their processing and in connection with, limited to, and measured by this purpose,
• Ensuring the accuracy and up-to-date status of the personal data you share with us,
• Your personal data will be recorded, stored, preserved, re-arranged, shared with institutions legally authorized to request such personal data, transferred to domestic or foreign third parties under the conditions stipulated by KVKK, transferred, classified, and processed in other ways listed in KVKK.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS? The personal data that may be processed by us, provided by you or when necessary, are as follows:

• Website/Application Usage Data: IP Address
• Visual and Audio Data: Voice Recording
• Vehicle Plate Information: Family Status Information
• Family Members Identity Data: Survey Data
• Job Title: Profession
• Workplace Information: Grade Information
• Education Level Information: Student Guidance and Counseling (PDR) Information
• Student Special Health Information: Other

HOW AND FOR WHAT REASONS DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA? As Fide Schools, to fulfill our legal obligations, execute the sales contract between us, for reasons stipulated in the laws, and due to the legitimate interest of Fide Schools, we collect your personal data through the Fide Schools website, special activities we organize, our switchboard, our registration and admission officer, accounting, our social media accounts, or through search engines when you provide your personal data.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA? We may process your personal data, which you have shared with us or that we may collect, for the following purposes:

To manage the School-Parent and School-Prospective Parent relationship:

• Ensuring your membership on the website,
• Ensuring your membership on our social media accounts,
• Informing parents and prospective parents about the school and registration through phone, social media accounts, email, and other communication channels,
• Sharing special announcements about the school and school activities,
• Sharing special announcements for parents and prospective parents.

To fulfill certain processes we are obliged to perform within the framework of relevant legislation:

• Issuing invoices for the product you purchased.

To better serve you, improve ourselves, and perform marketing and research activities:

• Conducting market research and planning and organizing activities related to services,
• Conducting satisfaction and loyalty surveys related to all services offered by Fide Schools,
• Ensuring the secure storage of your personal data in a secure database to address your complaints and suggestions.

For the administration of Fide Schools, conducting business, and implementing Fide Schools policies:

• Improving and developing the services offered by Fide Schools, determining and implementing commercial and business strategies,
• Continuing business and operations, and conducting Fide Schools activities and procedures,
• Planning information security processes, creating and managing IT infrastructure,
• Ensuring the satisfaction of parents and prospective parents,
• Recording internet activities within the site with technical means (e.g., Cookies) to ensure that visitors' visits to the site are conducted appropriately for their purposes, show personalized content, and conduct online advertising activities.

To exercise our right to defense against legal claims:

• Managing complaints,
• Fulfilling service and information requests.

We store and process your personal data for the maximum period specified in the relevant legislation or necessary for the purpose for which they are processed, and in any case, for the statutory limitation periods.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES WITHIN THE COUNTRY Your personal data may be transferred to specialized firms or servers of the applications we use for specific activities. For example:

• To provide internet site services, it is transferred to our internet site service provider and communication channels service providers.
• To conduct payment transactions, it is transferred to banks.
• For providing transportation services, it can be shared with relevant firms within the country.
• We may share your personal data with the necessary firms and institutions to invite you to and conduct events.
• Additionally, to exercise our right to defense, we can share with our lawyers and fulfill legal obligations such as court orders, Consumer Arbitration Committee decisions, or requests for evidence under legal conditions.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES ABROAD To manage Fide Schools, conduct business, implement Fide Schools policies, and run academic programs abroad, your personal data may be transferred to Microsoft Office applications, cloud solutions, and backup systems located in countries with or without adequate protection. Additionally, with your consent, your personal data may be transferred to bulk electronic message sending firms located in countries with or without adequate protection.

YOUR RIGHTS According to Article 11 of KVKK, by proving your identity to us personally, you have the right to:

• Learn whether Fide Schools processes your personal data, and if so, request information about it,
• Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used appropriately,
• Learn whether your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad and to whom it is transferred.

Additionally, you have the right to request Fide Schools to correct your incorrect or incomplete personal data and inform the recipients to whom your data has been transferred or may have been transferred.

Under the conditions specified in Article 7 of KVKK, you can request Fide Schools to delete (erase, destroy, or anonymize) your data. You can also request that the third parties to whom the data has been transferred or may have been transferred be informed about your request for deletion and/or correction. However, we will evaluate your request and determine the appropriate method based on the circumstances of the specific case. You can always request information from us about why we chose a particular deletion method.

You can object to the results of personal data analysis created solely by an automated system if these results are against your interests.

If you suffer a loss due to the unlawful processing of your personal data, you can request compensation for the damage.

Your requests in your application will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the processing requires additional costs, a fee may be charged based on the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

You must submit your application regarding the processing of your personal data to Fide Schools by filling out the application form available on the Fide Schools website, in writing, or through registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or by using your email address previously notified to us and registered in our systems. Depending on the nature of your request and the application method, Fide Schools may request additional verifications (such as sending a message to your registered phone or calling you) to determine whether the application belongs to you and thus protect your rights. For example, if you apply via your email address registered with Fide Schools, we may contact you through another communication method registered with Fide Schools and ask for confirmation that the application belongs to you.
