He was born in Istanbul in 1977. In 2000, he graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema and Television.
From 2000 to 2008, he served as a Production Manager at various companies including Deniz Kunkut Film Production, Depo Film, Combo Film, Haylaz Production, Exceptional Films and Advertisements Inc., Böcek Yapım, and A&A Film Production.
Since 2008, he has been involved in photo productions with local and foreign photographers for brands of agencies such as TBWA, Güzel Sanatlar Saatchi, Manajans JWT, Medina Turgul, and Magma Istanbul.
In 2010, he co-founded and served as the Marketing Director at Mobildna Information Technologies R&D LTD, a technology company where he contributed to developing technology solutions for brands like Habertürk, Kitapyurdu, Kamil Koç, and Tatil Sepeti.
From 2012 to 2016, he worked as a film and series producer at Organize Films.
Ceyhun Canikligil, who co-founded Fide Schools in 2016, is married and a father of one child.
