Born in Istanbul in 1997, Funda Nur Başar spent her primary school years in Eskişehir. She was always a diligent and successful student who loved her school, teachers, and friends. During her secondary education, she moved back to Istanbul and was admitted to Küçükçekmece Anatolian High School that year. In 2015, she graduated from the Department of Preschool Education at Marmara University with high honors. During her undergraduate years, she had the opportunity to work with children from various socioeconomic backgrounds. She strives to perform her profession in the best possible way by blending her education with her own experiences.
She began her teaching career at MEF Schools and continued at Bahçeşehir College. She enjoys learning by applying different learning approaches in various institutions. She believes that the preschool period is the first step in the educational journey and that this process should be enriched with unique experiences. While integrating her training into the classroom environment, she respects her students' self-discovery processes and provides them with opportunities to become individuals with 21st-century skills.
Aiming to nurture lifelong learners, she applies this concept to her own life as well. She is continuing her postgraduate education in the Department of Preschool Education at Bahçeşehir University. She enjoys participating in activities that will develop her professionally and personally. She always prefers to look at life positively, approach it with love, and enjoy the moment.
She works as a Preschool Teacher at the Serpil Yazıcı Campus of Fide Schools.
