Born in Kars in 1986, Güneş Ayırtır Erol graduated from Balıkesir University's Department of Traditional Turkish Handicrafts in 2008, and from Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Arts with honors in 2013. At the same faculty, she pursued a double major in the Department of Painting. In 2016, she received her pedagogical formation training at Marmara University and completed her master's degree on the wall paintings in Bezeklik at the institute of the same faculty in 2018. In 2021, she had a published article related to her thesis in the Culture, Art, and Civilization journal.
She has been teaching since the day she realized that she loves learning and teaching, and that knowledge is a delicate responsibility that grows when shared. Between 2013 and 2016, she worked in art galleries and art workshops, and gave private lessons. Since 2017, she has been teaching in private educational institutions. She has participated in art exhibitions at domestic and international art fairs, and has been involved in social responsibility projects. She has done book animations, wall paintings, permanent makeup work, and served as a stage decor designer in the performing arts and film industry.
She states that her primary goal is to "raise individuals who value art and artists," and continues her journey with this philosophy by being both an art teacher and a student. She loves reading books, traveling, nature walks, singing, and camping.
She works as a Visual Arts Teacher at the İdealtepe Campus of Fide Schools.
