Mine Özcan was born in Istanbul in 1989. She graduated from Marmara University with a degree in Information and Records Management in 2013. For over 10 years, she has been providing various trainings on libraries, nature, botany to children aged 4-18, teachers, and parents. She completed her Creative Drama Trainer education and project at the Contemporary Drama Association. She is currently studying Child Development at Istanbul University Open Education Faculty.
With her knowledge and experience gained from education and courses in library management, child development, gardening, nature-based solutions for classrooms, plant science, astrobiology, and creative drama, she has prepared and implemented various educational programs. Recently, she participated in a children's book illustration training. She has a keen interest in alternative education methods.
As someone who loves drawing, children's books, nature, and children themselves, she dreams of one day writing and illustrating her own children's book.
She currently serves as the Library Supervisor at Fide Schools Serpil Yazıcı Campus.
