Seçil Kara was born in 1982 in Divriği. She graduated from Kocaeli University with a degree in Mathematics in 2005 and received her Pedagogical Formation education at Maltepe University.
She served as a Department Head and Mathematics Teacher at Kadıköy Uğur Dershanesi and Biltest Dershaneleri, preparing students for university. Believing that it is necessary to introduce students to the world of mathematics at a younger age, she then worked as a Mathematics Teacher and Assistant Principal at Bilfen Schools and as the Middle School Education Coordinator at Bilnet Schools.
She loves doing Pilates, going on nature walks, solving sudoku puzzles, reading books, and spending time with her daughter.
Seçil Kara serves as the Head of the Mathematics Department at Fide Schools İdealtepe Campus.
