Sibel Çakıldı was born in 1979 in Safranbolu. She completed her primary and secondary education in Safranbolu, and her high school and undergraduate studies in Istanbul. In 2003, she graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Atatürk Education with a degree in Preschool Education. After graduation, she worked as a subject teacher at a vocational high school for a while. She later returned to her true profession and served as a preschool teacher in various institutions.
She continued to develop herself through in-service training programs provided by institutions and through additional training in her areas of interest. During this time, she became acquainted with Creative Drama and the Orff method, which she started to use more frequently in her teaching. As a life philosophy, she adopted curiosity both for herself and for those around her.
Following the philosophy that children are individuals, she prioritizes discovering their talents by focusing on their emotional and social development.
Her interests include cycling, hiking, playing various strategy games, and the art of origami.
